Specializing in "onsite" estate auctions, we manage, promote, assist or direct approximately 10-12 auction sales a year, in Delaware, Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Maryland.

We have conducted three of the most important, significant, and arguably, the largest on-site auctions ever held in Delaware.

In July of 2003, we held our "personal best" sale, possibly the largest onsite estate auction ever held in Delaware. Held for Mrs. Anne M. Barczewski and Family in Glasgow, Delaware, the sale had attendees from the surrounding states, as well as Arizona, Arkansas, Georgia, Kentucky, North Carolina and Oklahoma.

Set World Auction Record, July 12, 2003, for a pair of period Chippendale andirons at $80,000.00 not including the 10% buyer's premium.

On-Site Auction of Personal Property Estimated Costs*

*The on-site auction commission fee DOES NOT include the "elective costs" of: advertising, catalogs, toilets, tables, chairs, cashiers, clerks, auction help or additional fees as may be required by law or requested by seller. Each sale is different, so the costs for each sale will be different also.

You would not want to spend $4,000.00 for advertising an on-site sale that may gross $6,000.00.
And, at the same time, you would not want to spend only $1,000.00 on advertising an auction that is estimated to gross over $100,000.00. In other words, these costs cannot be predetermined...
 ...as they will be determined by the very nature of the sale itself.

Sale gross up to $ 20,000.00...12.5% Commission (Minimum $ 500.00)

$ 20,001.00 and up.................................................10.0% Commission
